The Project Story
Some bathrooms are born from blank slates. This one arrived fully formed. The client knew exactly what they wanted: every material, every fixture, every tile selected before the first call. What they needed was someone who could translate their vision into a seamless, functional reality. That's where the real work began.
Walk into most initial consultations, and clients are asking questions. "What tile do you recommend? Which fixtures work best? Should we go with a walk-in or a tub-shower combo?" But this client had already done the work. They'd selected every material, every fixture, every detail before calling Arise Above Construction. The marble. The frameless glass. The brushed gold hardware. The lighting. Everything.
What they trusted to Sean and the AAC team was the harder part: making it all work spatially, structurally, and visually. Taking a curated collection of premium products and configuring them into a cohesive, functional luxury bathroom. That's not selection—that's architecture.
The real challenge emerged in the layout phase. The client's vision was ambitious: tile that flowed continuously around the entire bathroom—walls, floor, shower surround—creating an unbroken field of marble that would transform the space into something more like a marble sanctuary than a typical remodeled bathroom.
Most contractors would install the tile and call it done. Sean saw the opportunity to reconfigure the entire layout to maximize that flow. Every wall angle, every corner, every transition was considered through the lens of how the tile would move around the space. The result: a continuous marble environment where every surface feels intentional, refined, and complete. The tile doesn't just cover the bathroom—it defines it.
Finished bathrooms can feel like collections of upgrades. Good ones feel like complete thoughts. This bathroom is the latter. Step inside, and what strikes you first is the simplicity of it. Floor-to-ceiling marble flowing continuously around walls and floor. A frameless glass shower enclosure that feels like an afterthought—a floating rectangle of clarity in the marble landscape. A brushed gold rain shower head catching light through the glass. A double vanity with designer sconce lighting that makes the mirror feel like a focal point rather than a functional surface. A freestanding soaking tub positioned to feel like the room's anchor. A custom shower bench finished in the same marble.
This is what happens when a client knows what they want and the contractor knows how to make it work. The result speaks for itself.
The Transformation
Key Features
Floor-to-ceiling marble tile wrapping around the entire bathroom without interruption. This is the signature move that transforms a remodeled bath into a cohesive luxury environment.
A floating rectangle of clarity that opens up the space visually while the marble backdrop takes center stage. Clean lines. Minimal frame. Maximum impact.
Warm metallic accents that catch light and add sophistication. The rain shower head becomes a sculptural element. The hardware feels like jewelry.
Dual sconce lights flanking the mirror make the vanity feel like a beauty destination rather than just a sink. Light placement matters more than most realize.
Built and tiled to match the surrounding marble. Functional luxury—comfortable, accessible, and completely integrated into the design.
Positioned as the room's anchor. A statement piece that says this bathroom is about experience, not just efficiency. A luxury detail that gets used.
"When the client already knows what they want, our job is to make it work perfectly. This one did."
