Our Story

We didn't change.
We arrived.

Arise Above Construction represents 20 years of uncompromising commitment to excellence. Sean Davis has been a licensed builder since 2006, and this isn't a new company trying to prove itself. This is a journey that began with the purchase and renovation of a single rental property, a project that ignited a passion for building, problem-solving, and creating safe, beautiful spaces for families.

After 20 years of consistent work in Metro Detroit, the rebrand to Arise Above finally reflects the standard that has always defined the work. The standard hasn't changed. Now everyone knows what that standard is.

Founder & Master Builder · License #2101179929

Sean is on every job site, writes every estimate, and is the contact you get when you call. The trades who join him are a hand-picked roster of licensed, insured plumbers, electricians, HVAC techs, tile setters, finish carpenters, and cabinet specialists, vetted across more than two decades of Detroit work.

You get one accountable point of contact. They get the right person for the work.

What We Stand For

Four values, in writing.

Integrity in every estimate

Written numbers before any work begins. No verbal quotes. No surprise invoices at closeout.

II.

Craft over shortcuts

Tile gets properly set. Fixtures get shimmed. Nothing is rushed past the point where water can find its way in.

III.

Communication, daily

You'll always know what's happening today, what's planned tomorrow, and what's coming next week.

IV.

Detroit, first

We live here. We hire here. The homes we build are the streets we drive past every day.
